Natali Simmonds
Thriller & Fantasy Author

I’m Natali Simmonds. I write thrillers, and I also co-write paranormal romance as Caedis Knight

Being an author is all I’ve ever wanted to be. At the age of 5, I would sit with my dad while he drew me pictures, and I’d write stories to go with them. Over forty years later, nothing has changed. My life still revolves around storytelling.

I write a variety of genres, yet all my books remain gritty and unflinching, full of complex women and page-turning suspense. I’ve been shortlisted for an RNA Fantasy Award, been a Flash 500 judge, and my debut thriller, Good Girls Die Last, has been optioned for television.

As well as being an author, I lecture at writing and film academies, run my own consultancy, and continue to amplify the importance of storytelling and being heard through my work with the London Latino Film Festival.

Mentoring, School Visits,
Lectures & Creative Workshops

Whether you’re a serious writer, a school, library, university, or organisation looking for an author guest speaker, my mentoring and classes can help you.

I give talks to every age, from primary school right through to university students and aspiring adult writers. I’ve taught at The Hague University, London’s Raindance Film School, and for Jericho Writers and the Professional Writing Academy.

As a writer and brand consultant, I work closely with teachers and event organisers to ensure that my talks are on point. I adapt my presentations to cover your chosen topic regarding creative writing, publishing, or marketing in the arts. My mentoring, classes, talks, and workshops also centre on themes such as resilience, inspiration, and motivation.
