Loom Narrative
connecting stories, talent & industry
I founded Loom Narrative to bring together my work as an author, executive producer, and story developer.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience across publishing, storytelling, creative education, and the film industry, I work with producers, film festivals, and creative organisations to discover compelling stories, identify opportunities, and build meaningful industry connections.
Whether I’m writing a novel, developing a project, moderating a panel or introducing two people who should know each other, my aim is always the same:
Helping stories find their audience by bringing the right people together.
What I Do
Create
As the author of 12 published novels and a screenwriter, I create stories for readers and audiences. My work spans commercial fiction and television adaptation, giving me first-hand experience of taking ideas from concept to page and from page to screen.
Discover
I help producers, festivals, and creative organisations identify compelling stories, emerging talent, and creative opportunities with strong adaptation and development potential.
Connect
Through partnership development, industry relationships, and creative collaborations, I bring together writers, producers, festivals, publishers, and organisations to help ideas become projects.
Develop
I work with writers, producers, and institutions to strengthen stories, shape creative strategy, support adaptation, and deliver workshops, speaking engagements, and industry events.
Share
Working with festivals, cultural organisations, and educational institutions through speaking, workshops, and industry events.
About Me
I’ve been making up stories for as long as I can remember.
As soon as I could hold a pen, I was filling notebooks with adventures, drawing imaginary worlds, talking endlessly, and writing anything I could. Looking back, it’s no surprise that storytelling has shaped every stage of my career. What might seem like an unconventional path has always been connected by one thing: stories.
I’ve worked in marketing for global brands including Nike, Sugar Puffs, Vue Cinema and Chivas Regal, helping organisations communicate with audiences in meaningful ways. I’ve worked in-house for iconic hotels including The Savoy and Claridge’s, in publishing with magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Esquire, and in agencies where creativity, strategy and collaboration went hand in hand.
Alongside my career, I never stopped writing.
I’m now the author of twelve published novels, with my thriller Good Girls Die Last currently in television development, where I’m attached as Executive Producer. Over the years I’ve also worked as a storytelling consultant, lecturer and creative development specialist while living in Spain, the Netherlands, Australia and, now, back home in London.
Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on how stories are created, developed, shared and championed, and on the importance of bringing together the right people to make them happen. That’s why I founded Loom Narrative.
Today I work with producers, festivals, publishers and creative organisations to discover compelling stories, build creative partnerships and create opportunities across publishing, film and television.
